Kermit Jr. High School Title I, Campus Improvement & Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) Meeting 2026–2027
Dear Kermit Jr. High Parents and Families,
Kermit Jr. High is a Title I, Part A campus and has been identified by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) for the 2026–2027 school year based on our 2026 accountability results.
We invite all parents and families to attend our Title I, Campus Improvement, and CSI Meeting. This meeting will provide an opportunity for families to learn more about our campus performance, our plans for improvement, and the ways parents and community members can participate in the improvement process.
During the meeting, we will:
• Explain the purpose of Title I, Part A and how Title I resources support Kermit Jr. High students
• Review our 2026 Texas accountability results and our campus identification for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI)
• Discuss the academic needs identified through our student and campus data
• Review our Campus Improvement Plan and school improvement efforts
• Discuss the strategies and goals we are implementing to improve student achievement and student growth
• Explain how we will monitor our progress throughout the school year
• Review our Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School-Parent Compact
• Explain parents' rights under Title I
• Provide parents and community members an opportunity to provide feedback and input regarding our campus improvement efforts
Your participation is an important part of our improvement process. As a CSI campus, we are committed to working collaboratively with our students, families, staff, and community to identify areas of need, develop effective strategies, and monitor our progress toward improved student outcomes.

Be on the lookout for your child’s Picture Day order form! If the order form gets lost, extra copies should be available in the office.
📷 Picture Day Reminders:
• Dress up your student, fix their hair, and remind them to SMILE! 😄
• Complete the order form and have your student bring it to the photographer on Picture Day.
• If you order online, write “Online Order” and the online order ID number on the order form OR send a printed copy of your online receipt.
• Each child must have their own order form or online order receipt.
• If your child is absent on Picture Day, please watch for information about the retake date.
• Orders turned in more than 2 weeks after Picture Day will have a $10 late fee.
