Junior High Rotary Student of the Month for October 2022
Azlene Valencia, the daughter of Asusena and Ernesto Valencia, is the Kermit Junior High October Rotary Student of the Month.
Azlene’s school activities that she is involved in are volleyball, track, basketball, Student Council, UIL, Cheerleading, Ballet Folklorico, and 4-H competition.
Azlene has received two KJH student of the month awards and three Superintendent awards for grades. She has also received many UIL awards, All A-Honor Roll and A-B Honor Roll awards.
Azlene likes to paint and draw, play softball, sing and dance, write stories, do hair and make-up, play volleyball and be around her friends and family.
Azlene's future plans are to attend High School and then, attend UTPB or Texas Tech and major in Reading and become a teacher. She also plans to coach softball and volleyball, along with teaching.
